My name is Melissa Lopez. I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. I have spent my entire life in the San Jose community. I attended De Anza Community College then transferred up north to Humboldt State University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Minor in Business. I am fluently in Spanish and English.
I have always had an interest and passion in immigration law and giving back to the community since I’ve always enjoyed helping others in need. I particularly enjoy helping out the Hispanic community as both of my parents are from Jalisco, Mexico. My goal is to one day further my education and attend law school.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son and family, trying new and interesting restaurants, going hiking, or simply relaxing with a good movie or show. As a new mom, I have enjoyed judging my son, work, and my hobbies.
