My name is Jenifer Valdez. I was born and raised in Napa, California. Currently, I am an undergraduate student at San Jose State University
studying Psychology and will be applying to law school in the fall of 2022.
Coming from immigrant parents and growing up experiencing firsthand the injustices and difficulties brought upon immigrants in this country,
has sparked my attention toward immigration law from a very early age. I was eight years old when my parents said I was the one that could possibly help them gain proper documentation to remain in this country legally in the near future.
This was something that always felt almost impossible and very out of reach. I’m grateful to be able to play a role in helping many in our communities achieve what often feels like the impossible. These individuals deserve help and a chance in this country.
My ultimate goal in life is to help undocumented individuals who call, or already call, this country their home
